Aims and Purpose
The blogging competition aims to allow our students the opportunity to participate in the launch of a new concept store, ALT, and to understand the challenges and opportunities that retailers encounter in retail marketing.

Objectives• To understand how retailer communicates with their target market
• To allow student the opportunity to learn to use new media as a marketing tool for communication
• To provide more exposure in learning about the marketing efforts of retailers in Singapore

Task
Your team has been tasked by ALT to design and maintain a blog in ALT’s web page. Your team has to pick an interesting blog topic unique to ALT’s store concept, marketing strategies, current fashion trends etc for posting on the web page for further discussion. Your goal is to create or generate “buzz” and encourage readers to discuss on your blog.

What will you get?• Each participating member will each receive a Certificate of Appreciation
• Each participating member will each receive an ALT Gift Card (@$20)
